EUTIC holds a weekly club-wide meeting which gives members an opportunity to learn more about finance and current affairs. The line-up includes:
- ‘The Week That Was’, delivered by our Chairman, linking news headlines to movements in the markets
- External speakers from the financial services industry and internal speakers such as university professors
- Educational talks from our experienced members
We regularly invite professionals from the financial services industry as well as our sponsor and alumni network to speak and present to the club. These presentations are highly educational, and allow for exclusive networking between members and leading graduate recruiters.
Our investment fund is divided into eight sector teams, aligned with industry standards. All students have the opportunity to join any sector team. The sectors perform research and come up with stock decisions that lead to the investments of our equity portfolio of £52,000.
